The brushless DC motor is a typical mechatronic product, which is composed of the motor body and the driver.
Brushless motor refers to a brushless and commutator (or collector ring) motor, also known as a commutatorless motor.
As early as when the electric motor was born in the 19th century, the practical motor was a brushless motor, that is, an AC squirrel cage asynchronous motor, which has been widely used.
However, asynchronous motors have many insurmountable defects, which make the development of motor technology slow.
The transistor was born in the middle of the last century, so the brushless DC motor in which the brush commutator was replaced by the transistor commutator came into being.
This new type of brushless motor is called an electronically commutated DC motor, which overcomes the shortcomings of the first generation of brushless motors.

Continuous load application

Mainly refers to the fields that require a certain speed but do not require high-speed precision, such as applications such as fans, pumps, blowers, etc., these applications are relatively low-cost, and most of them are open-loop control.

Variable load applications

It is mainly the application where the speed needs to be changed within a certain range, which has higher requirements for the motor speed characteristics and dynamic response time characteristics.Such as household appliances, dryers, compressors, etc. are a good example. The automotive industry has relatively high application system costs in oil pump control, electronic control, and engine control.
